Piano for Fun

Learn to play popular tunes on piano in enjoyable, approachable, fun group sessions. This course, for beginners, is designed to be a fun way of learning how to play piano. By learning a new song each week, you will learn the basic theory and the practical skills you need to play tunes on a keyboard. We will start by learning how to play a melody with one hand, and gradually move on to adding harmonies and bass notes, so by the end of the course we will be able to play complete songs as a group. We will learn to play by ear, rather than by reading sheet music, so no knowledge of reading music is needed. The aims of this course are to get comfortable with the basics of playing piano, make some great sounds together and to have fun while doing it.
