What’s next? College, studying for A Levels? Have you considered an apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are open to everyone – not just young people, but anyone looking for a career change. Apprenticeships are an excellent route to help you achieve a successful career. The qualifications you gain will also help you to progress if you decide to go on to university.

Earn while you learn!

An Apprenticeship is a real job with training, so you can earn money, gain experience and pick up recognised qualifications along the way. If you live in England, are over 16 and not in full time education you can apply.

It’s free! Thanks to some government funding, as a learner, you don’t have to pay a thing.

On average one year, although courses vary up to two years. Depending on your circumstances you can start at any time.

An assessor will visit you regularly in the workplace and offer support and advice. You will also be given help to improve your English and maths. Drop in sessions are available if you’d like the support.

An apprenticeship has the following qualification components:
Technical Certificate
Vocational NVQ
English, Maths, ICT qualifications
