[sm_column_text]The Dressmaking Showcase that we hold each year is one of our favourite events: students from across our dressmaking classes get a chance to show-off their work whilst raising money for charity.
This year, whilst we can’t hold a physical fashion show, we’re excited to be creating a virtual dressmaking showcase: ‘All Dressed Up.. and nowhere to go!’ We will be setting up a fundraising page for York Food Banks and IDAS, which are charities nominated by our learners for the show.
We are collecting images of garments, accessories and household items created by learners, and are going to put them together on our website for your enjoyment in the coming weeks. We will also be including entries to the Transformation Challenge within the show, so watch this space![/sm_column_text]
