The effect of devolution on bookings

York Learning

York Learning courses are funded by the Skills Funding Agency allowing us to provide courses at a lower cost. Some geographical areas, such as West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester are devolved authorities, which means they have had their funding given to them in advance. The guidelines relating to devolution means that we cannot apply this funding to learners who live in devolved areas.

If you live in one of these areas we would recommend that before committing to a course with York Learning, you explore options to study the course in your local area. If you live in one of these areas we would recommend that, before committing to a course with York Learning, you explore options to study the course in your local area.
If you would prefer to continue your learning with York Learning please note that the price of the course could carry a 50% additional fee to cover the costs we would normally receive from the Skills Funding Agency. If this applies to you, please call our enrolment team on 01904 554277 rather than booking online to process your enrolment.

Please note that York Learning have no control over the national devolution rollout and are not responsible for allocating the funding.
