Study Programmes

Personalised learning packages to help you prepare for adulthood.

York Learning works in partnership with a range of subcontractors to deliver personalised learning programmes to young people aged 16-25 with Education Health and Care plans. We select our partners carefully, ensuring that young people are attending a setting that can meet their specific needs, that they are safe, happy and making progress towards their goals.

We currently offer a number of study pathways from a choice of six different providers that will help learners prepare for adulthood, supporting you to achieve wider independence through studying a mixture of the following options:

  • Vocational subject pathway- such as mechanics, gardening, catering, art, sport, music and much more
  • English and maths
  • Work experience
  • Citizenship and personal and social education
  • Employability skills
  • Independent living skills such as budgeting, cleaning and cooking and travelling by public transport

Please see the details on the SEND local offer page below, or the links to each provider to find out more about what they offer and how to contact them.

Please contact each provider directly via their websites for information about how to apply.
